How Quince Orchard Dental Specialists Is Making FREE Retainers For LIFE Possible!

July 2, 2019

Everyone wants a beautiful, healthy, straight smile. Whether you are ten or forty years old, this dream can become a reality through orthodontic treatments done by Quince Orchard Dental Specialists. The aim of our orthodontic practice is to optimize the health and function of your teeth.  We address dental issues such as crowding, spacing, an improper bite, and can help improve facial esthetics. Whether you choose braces or Invisalign as the treatment to correct these issues, you will be required to wear retainers afterwards. Retainers are custom made orthodontic devices that are used to prevent your newly aligned teeth from shifting back to their original position.

No matter what age you are or the type of treatment you get, once  your teeth are aligned, they will naturally want to shift back to where they used to be. Studies have shown that patients who did not wear their retainers will need braces or Invisalign again about ten years after their initial treatment. At Quince Orchard Dental Specialists, in addition to maintaining  your brand new smile, we want the money you spent on treatment not go to waste, so we stress the  importance of wearing your retainers. For this reason, we want to give our patients the option of having free retainers for life so they do not neglect this step if their retainers are lost or damaged. With this idea in mind, we came up with the FREE Retainers for LIFE Program

Our FREE Retainers for LIFE Program will be offered to our new orthodontic patients and will include one set of Essix retainers per year. We have found that many patients will not bother to have retainers replaced if they become damaged or lost. This new program will enable them  to replace their retainers easily and keep their teeth properly aligned. All they have to do is make an appointment and our staff will create a new Essix retainer for them.

How can patients qualify for this program?

  • We give our patients their final study model, which is used to make a custom-made retainer at the end of their treatment. If they would like their retainer to be replaced for free, they just need to bring that custom model into our office for their appointment.
  • In order for us to use the custom model to make a replacement retainer, the patient’s teeth cannot have shifted and the custom model, itself should not be worn out or damaged in any way.
  • To extend the Free Retainer phase year after year, a patient has to refer one new patient per year to qualify. For each new patient, they refer to our practice (who starts orthodontic treatment) they will receive a one-year extension to their complimentary first year of the program.

This exciting new program is expected to be in effect July 1, 2019, and will apply to all new patients starting orthodontic treatment on and after that date.
